Great food, lovely place
Beautifully located inn with a great beer garden right on the Isar in the south of Munich. The roast pork was very good, but the portion was quite small. It was very busy, so the service was extremely hectic and not necessarily hospitable. Definitely a recommendation as an address on bike tours. However, I would advise against coming here for dinner.
Very nice atmosphere and incredibly friendly people. All in a really nice place!
Perhaps the best apple pie of all time ... 👍
Terrible and by no means service-oriented. Eating is a disaster and you get the impression that they would prefer if they could stay in bed in the morning and not have to get up. Put up a sign that you don't feel like guests
I celebrated my confirmation here 2 weeks ago. We made a reservation and then even had a whole room just for the family - super cozy and practical. The menu is not that extensive now, but everyone found something and everyone was satisfied with their food. Found the Käsespätzle very tasty. The service was very friendly. Thank you! 😁
Super... Above all, the guest room is amazing ... Great food
A beer garden with the special atmosphere of a cozy forest clearing where elves and goblins dance at night. Excellent dishes, ideal for bike trips and romantic dinners on summer evenings. A real insider tip!
as it should be. guads essn, a vegetarian, koa hectic. de we woiln where else, soin to Grünwoild, is closer anyway ... when i scho les: location, quaint, huh ???
Very tasty food .... and nice large portions
Great location right on the Isar. Nice beer garden, delicious cuisine, traditional Bavarian and also vegetarian.
An old inn in an idyllic location by the raft slide. Inside unfortunately closed (Corona). Conditions very friendly, roast pork as it should be. Unfortunately, the beer garden was pretty neglected, I would have expected more after the hymns. And: the knives are an imposition!
The inn, including the beer garden, is a great opportunity to relax and recharge your batteries when you are out and about in the beautiful surroundings. The service is very friendly. Only the mediocre quality of the food and the almost carelessly arranged plates are disappointing here.
A great location for eating and having a snack. Very nice and above average staff. 5 stars without restrictions👍👍
Very plain and simple, but ... just right after a bike tour or hike on the Isar. The simplicity makes it awesome. Food tastes good, but is not a 5-star menu.
Really good Bavarian economy with a great beer garden and a delicious selection of dishes. A bit narrow but quaint inside. Here the raft rides take a break and then it goes down the slide. A pleasure to watch here.
Very nice location on the Isar. We celebrated in a small group outside. There were various hot and cold dishes that were delicious. There were both meat and vegetarian dishes. The service was very nice and tried very hard. She was always there and we never lacked anything. The Kaiserschmarrn is particularly recommended as a dessert.
Delicious. Cozy. Quaint. And all very friendly. A great place to rest and relax by the water. A good roast pork gives you strength for the next tour!
Perfect place to make a stop and eat/drink something
The food was extremely good, five stars... Staff were friendly to talk too. I would highly recommend this place.
Bavarian cuisine. 100/100 Traditional restaurant by the river.
The inn is located directly on the raft slide of the Isar canal. Especially for children, visitors and Prussians in summer is an experience to watch the screaming Flossfahrgäste at the departure of the slide. A must for every visitor to Munich. Culinary, the inn is negligible, but for a cold beer the visit worthwhile.
Beautiful beer garden located directly on the Isar canal. Idyllic under 2 old trees you will find enough shade to linger, some with views of the Isar. The waiters and the host are on Zack and always endeavored for the welfare of the guests. The food is very good and the menu offers Bavarian dishes. The waiting times are fair and the service very good. Parking is available in front of the restaurant. The way to the inn is quite outlandish, you think first you would be wrong, but it is correct and the road leads to the restaurant. Really worth a visit and absolutely recommendable. From me there is the full score.

Very quiet and just a dream. Very nice beer garden, friendly staff. Accessible by bike, but also parking for motorists.
it was great moment
Nice, really German place with great German foods. I can recommend the Leberkäse. Friendly staff, enough seating places and even a nice view on the river!
The food was not good at all, we were both feeling sick afterwards. Very salty. Location and beer good :)
Beautiful restaurant along the Isar with very friendly staff. Wonderful for a break and a piece of cake (erdnuß-nougat-Kuchen) when biking the Isar trails.
Here is Muenchners' secret garden. Located in a tranquil valley along Isar River, offering tasty beer and traditional Bavarian meals (roasted pork is obviously among the best). Big interior space for big groups, as well as outside seating when weather is nice. Staff is efficient and super friendly. A wonderful place for a stop during hiking / biking along the river.

This is a must for all tourist in munich, don't forget your umbrella :-)
Really nice, very German, very rustic. But "homy"
Sometimes I stop by for a beer when riding home from the office. Very personal and friendly service, view of the Isar, in the summer you might see some log rafting passing by
Great place for views of the Isar, all spoiled by lousy food.
Great place to stop during the summer, when you can witness the crazy side of Bavaria, when Floating Beergardens are sliding down the river
